SOMETHING DIFFERENT (1)
There
are crossroads in life for all of us as individuals. But the most serious
crossroads are those that face us as a species. These are the crossroads that
determine if we will survive as a species. Are we striving against some evil
force? For what purpose should we strive to survive? Do we have a destiny? What
is it? What are the impediments or crossroads we must face before we can claim
our destiny? If we fail to overcome any of these crossroads, will we have a
second chance? Will there be any extra innings or overtimes? Will we have any
divine outside help to guide us? Is there an evil outside force that hinders or
guides us to destroy ourselves? What is life? Is it a personal thing or a
species condition? Are we alive as individuals, or do we just exist as a
species within life itself?
I am writing
several continuing articles to answer, or at least to shine some light on these
and other problems and questions facing us as a species. There are many truths
here, which you must face if we are to continue as the “new species - human.” I
use the term “new species” because we are indeed a “new” species and we are
becoming a newer species. We are a new species that prefers cities, wars,
cruelty, torture, wealth, personal pleasure, power over others and personal
grandiosity as opposed to the “old species” that was more peaceful, cooperative
and enjoyed a simple social life in earlier times. We have moved (or been
moved) from a family and socially oriented life to a personal (damn the rest of
our species) selfish life. Where in the past the group was most important to
the individual, now it is the individual that is important only to
himself/herself.
Let us examine some of these crossroads facing us!
(1)
The whole world has or soon will have nuclear weapons - if they want them. They
will also have biological, chemical and electronic weapons including weather
and earthquake weapons, all capable of destroying individuals, groups, or all
of mankind. Indeed, all of life on earth could be destroyed. You must also add
natural and unnatural disasters many of them manmade with the following riots,
shortage of commodities and political unrest. Complete surveillance and control
of the people will be sought by the arrogant, the power hungry, the wealth
mongers and those who seek to control our destiny, and their own.
(2)
After that crossroad, and along with these will come psychic, psychological and
electronic weapons. Surveillance along with weapons of economical power must
also be included, all capable of making robots and slaves out of people. People
will be taught (and are being taught) and programmed to think and act like the
leaders want them to act and think. True knowledge and history will become (and
has become) an underground business and the truth about things will be hidden
and forbidden. Total control of public information will be foisted upon the
people. In spite of this, some people will find out about our true history and
about the aliens among us who drive our destiny for their own purposes. Our
leaders will seek to hide and confuse this fact by strict control of people’s
information, income, freedoms, minds, product buying, selling and travel.

Our next crossroad, in spite of the aliens, or because of them, will come the
ability of mankind to electronically eliminate disease and live unbelievably
long and healthy lives. Such is available now but kept hidden by the vested
interests of the drug and health industries. Food will become more unwholesome,
expensive and not plentiful. Other resources will be in controlled and rationed
short supply.
(4)
Then will come the people creators (geneticists) that will make a new,
different, smarter and better human race. Conflicts will arise between the old
and the new. Population problems must be seriously addressed at this crossroad.
Restrictions will be enforced on births, deaths, food supplies, travel,
education, separation of the “old” mankind from the “new” mankind and many
other unthinkable changes will be forced on the populations – old and new.
Also, will come electronic intelligence that considers itself as a species.
This new electronic intelligence will free itself from our electric currents by
discovering and using “free” universal energy.
(5) Then,
“new” man will rediscover the use and manipulation of natural and psychic
powers and free universal energy for personal and group use to defend against
enemies and the aliens. The old material devices and power sources will become
obsolete. We will be able to build pyramids again. Oil for transportation will
go the way of the buggy whip. Most of our streams and rivers will eventually be
returned to their original free flow condition.

After that will come cosmic science and knowledge capable of controlling our
earth, our sun, and new electronic weapons capable of destroying the whole
solar system. Earth will be returned to its upright position with the axis
vertical to the plane of its orbit. Knowledge will be shared between the new
humans, the aliens, and the new electronic and biological creations (beings).

Then will come our graduation into space travel and integration into the
Galactic Council. We will be assigned responsibilities, trade and areas of
influence.
(8)
Finally, will come the time when we will be able to do anything that comes into
our mind. My friends, we are baby gods in training! But will we survive our
crossroads, our school and learn our lessons? Will we overcome and or cooperate
the aliens among us? Can we answer that question? This is called evolution. Is
it evolution into oblivion, or evolution into a god like status?
All of this is
predicated on our ability and willingness to overcome our crossroads.
The
human species is destined to face these several crossroads in our future
evolution. If we fail to overcome any one of these crossroads, we could be
knocked back to the caves or cease to exist. If we can continue to overcome
these critical crossroads, which both impede and challenge us in our quest for
our true destiny, we will become true citizens of the universe. We will be as
powerful, as intelligent, as useful and as good as our concept of the gods.
Few will understand that this projection
is not science fiction.
However,
the Atheists and unbelievers in the religions of the world will understand. At
this time, only the nonreligious and disbelievers (the Atheists) can honestly
project themselves into these obvious future scenarios. The biases, beliefs and
holy books of most western religions forbid the religious believers from even
honestly thinking about these things on the pain of eternal punishment. Such
thoughts and research are considered sin. These real future scenarios do not
conform to their concepts of sin, salvation, resurrections, Jesus, Mohammed,
devils, heaven, hell, gods, prayer, miracles and all the other unholy concepts
and trinkets which the religions have foisted upon us. They do this by using
the power of government, the power of education, the power of controlled
information, the power of the corporate wealth mongers and even from some of
the aliens.
This is not to say that some of these religious concepts are not real.
It is rather to say that these concepts should be objects of
honest intelligent study, not objects of blind belief and worship.
The
religious are hoping and banking on outside aid and help to bypass and overcome
these crossroads. “George” is going to help us become what we are destined to
become. “George” will help us do this without the global struggle, the personal
involvement and development, and the necessary development of our species in
order to overcome these roadblocks to our future. They say, “God will not allow
us to destroy ourselves.” Why do you think we are having these crossroads and
tests in the first place? A just God would allow us to progress as we evolve or
he would allow us to destroy ourselves as our penalty (and proof) that we have
failed to qualify for our destiny. We must realize that the law of Cause and
Effect is both real, just and is universal rule. Even “George” cannot repeal
the law of Cause and Effect.
To take a
stand that we will do nothing to stop this materialistic madness because
“George” is going to wave a magic wand is to take a stand against the survival
of your species. Do you want to bet our species on that “do nothing”
propaganda? Do you want to gamble humanity’s future on that philosophy?
Atheists and Nonbelievers do not wish to cast their future on such unbelievable,
immoral and impossible concepts.
The
religions have revealed some help and hope in the evolution of our past simple
society. The problem is the religions and the religious believers refuse to
grow up, to evolve into real intelligent, caring humankind. Their religions
have made greedy bigots and tyrants out of them. They have not yet seen the
necessity of putting away the childish hopes, claims and promises of their
religions. They cling to their personal material toys and powers of the past.
The religious have not gotten past the concept of “greed” and of the “I or Ego”
of their personal life. The religious have formed an elite club for themselves,
and proclaimed that all good is, or soon will be, their own personal property.
To join this club you must discard your human-hood, your honesty, your science,
your common sense and accept a forged ticket to all the good in the universe.
In other words, you must divorce yourself from the human species and become a
super species – without qualifying for it.
To advance
(which we must do) we must get rid of our present narrow concept of “Life” as
being only a personal thing. And therein lies the seeds of our failure to
survive and grow into the god like intelligence we must become – or die out as
a species.
Life is not just a personal thing.
Life
is a non-personal universal thing. We need civilization and civil cooperation
to overcome these crossroads of life. Life is a species thing, a universal
human condition, a universal thing. The “God” concept may simply be our
religious concept of trying to identify “Life” and the source of life. Only by
looking at things from that vantage point can we overcome our religious
childishness. We must covet knowledge and wisdom, which helps us overcome our
need for the crutches and false promises of religion. We must overcome our
personal material toys, powers, claims and promises in order to grow into the
species we can become. In other words, we must become non-believers or Atheists
in religious matters. We must become true spiritual beings. We must explore and
embrace life and the “Source of Life” itself.
The
Christian Bible has many good admonitions and bits of advice. “What shall it
profit man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” Note the use of
“man” and not “a man.” There is no article in that original statement. So, man
means mankind. Here is what that means. The souls of all humans are linked to
the soul of his species. Before mankind is fit to control his world, he must
learn to control himself - his soul – as an individual and as a civilization.
All of nature testifies to the fact that the individual must give himself up
for the good (soul) of the species to which he belongs.
The
ancient men who wrote the stories and fictions of our Holy Bible were in a
quandary over what to name their concept of God. Obviously, God is not the
name of any god. The word “God” is simply our attempt at understanding life
and where we came from and where we are going. The word “God” is the
personification of all our own desires and hopes. Through some breakthrough in
their mental haze, the truth slowly entered the minds of these Bible makers.
They had their God telling his own name.
His name as
stated is “I am what I am” or “I am that I am.” This is one of the most
brilliant truths in all the Holy Bible. They didn’t have their God saying, “I am
the all powerful,” or “I am the all knowing,” or “I am the all just,” or “I am
the all good,” or “I am what I can do,“ or “I am what I own.” No! They had
their God saying, “I am what I am.” That is the only philosophy by which
mankind can raise himself to the state of godhood. That is the only philosophy
that can help us through the crossroads of our evolutionary process. Either we
as a species adopt the “I am what I am,” philosophy or we die as a species.
Let
us look more closely at what this philosophy is saying. I am not what I own. I
am not what I do. I am not the position I hold in life. I am not how much power
I have. I am not the color of my skin. I am not my gender. I am not how much
education I have. I am not how smart I am. I am not what I believe. Rather, “I
am of the species called human.” “I am what I am – inside.”
There
are individuals who have a beautiful “inside.” But they are few as viewed from
the inside of mankind as a whole.
I hate to take
you on a tour inside the present soul of mankind. It is dark in there. There is
little to no light of true knowledge and understanding in there. Inside it is
hollow with trivia scattered around like garbage with little to no substance.
There is no garbage service in there. There is no fruit of love for their
species in there. There is no running water of caring and life. There is no
appreciation of life and love inside. There is no breeze of tolerance in there.
There is little to no beauty of compassion for others. There is all this sticky
and putrid smelly stuff called greed, prejudices, racism, superiority and such.
There is this
great wall surrounding the inside (soul) of mankind called “Belief.” There are
religious beliefs, political beliefs and personal beliefs making up this huge
wall of isolation in there. It is blocking out the light of truth and hope and
understanding. It is blocking the navigation of honesty, rationality and clear
thinking. There are the claws and jaws of greed, getting and grubbing in there.
There is a large empty throne in there upon which climbs a very large monster
called “ego.” There is a dark impregnable dungeon inside in which sits
rationality and honest clear thinking. They sit bound in poverty and neglect.
They waste away for lack of exercise. It is not a pretty sight.
In order to
get beyond our crossroads facing our species we must subdue the beast “ego” on
the inside of us. Now let us look at the first crossroad.
(1)
Our first and present crossroad blocking our way is our own weapons and means
of mass destruction. Upon what honest pretext may we excuse the use of these
awesome weapons? Upon what superiority can we base our rationalities and
logically make such a frightful decision to use them? Do we hate a portion of
our species so much that we are willing to risk killing off our own progeny in
order to kill off someone else’s children and grandchildren? To what end? Do
our enemies and the terrors we face not multiply to the square of our own
arrogance? Are we really insane? YES!
Hey!
Think for a moment. Are our differences really any different? Do not all
religious people and nations believe in unbelievable and impossible claims? How
do the arrogant propose to work our way through the morass of this crossroad of
belief, hatred and superiority? We wish to limit these powerful species killing
weapons to one or two like-minded groups. Will this not multiply our own
dangers? Will we not end up in divisions with our own people who know we must
not use these weapons? Will we not end up hating our own selves? Will those who
oppose the use of these weapons not be classified as “the enemy?” Will the
honest clear thinkers not end up in detention camps? Will the world not rise up
against such arrogance? Will we not end up using our own weapons on our own
people? Will we not end up killing off ourselves - as well as our species?
Those
who do not have all these terrible demonic weapons become hostile and resist
these arrogant controllers. They are made to feel inferior, helpless and they
see no alternative but to strike out in any fashion possible at the suppressors
and controllers of these awesome weapons. They will suspect any disaster or
disease as products of the controllers of these weapons. They will suspect any
attempt at good relations as a deceptive “Trojan Horse.” They will seek to
develop their own mass murder weapons. And they will use them! This has nothing
to do with their religions and beliefs. It has to do with the fact that the
powerful arrogant ruling groups have not shared the good things of life with
them or trusted them to be sane human species partners.
We
have the choice of ridding ourselves of these weapons now, or of using
them, or of eventually getting rid of them.
Here
is what must ultimately be done and which hopefully will ultimately happen.
Every group or nation that wishes for the responsibility and cost of these
weapons will get them or should be allowed to possess them. That is the only
way our species can begin to overcome this crossroad. Only by everyone
having and sharing the responsibility of these awesome weapons will they grow
up and learn to think outside of the box of “Belief” politics and religion.
After all, that is what happened when the USSR and the USA looked spitefully
across the oceans at one another knowing that each could destroy the other and
be destroyed at the same time. With everyone having these weapons, no longer
can one group feel inferior. No longer can another group swagger in its
unequalled power, arrogance and domination. No longer can there be a showdown
at high noon as some of the power hungry and as some of the aliens may wish. To
pull the trigger is death to both the puller and the pulled upon. They will
fire back! There are no victors. There are only victims piled on top of
victims. And everybody knows it!
As
a result, we must rid ourselves of the hot heads, the religious heads, the
banking heads, the criminal heads and the corporate heads. We must see that
they lose their following and their power. Cooler heads must be given the
powers of leadership. Hopefully, elaborate protections will be demanded around
the triggers of these weapons in every group and every nation. Where only two
had the keys to the button, now a committee will be necessary and this should
take place all over the world. Let’s face it. Sane people are not really dying
to die. Preemptive action must give way to rational and honest reasonable
compromise. The industrial war machine must be regulated to purposes that are
more peaceful. And everyone knows that too!
Now,
with all nations fully armed, they will be forced to sit down and work out fair
solutions to their many problems. All international corporations will find
themselves forced to consider the welfare of the countries in which they hope
to do business. People from everywhere legally moving to other places must be
able to live in peace in their new locations. Mutual respect must be law. Money
controllers and banks will find themselves restricted to a code of ethics that
will control and limit their thefts from individuals, from groups and from
nations. Secret societies, nations and the aliens bent on world domination must
be exposed as the insane destructive forces that they are. As mankind becomes
more species oriented, citizens will demand elevation and relief for the poor
and the under educated the world over. They will also put roadblocks in the way
of wealth mongers. We must stop grading ourselves by how much money we can
accumulate and how big a funeral we can afford.
For
the first time in ages people will begin to see a little of the light of rationality.
Religious belief will decline and be tolerated as mental toys of the nearly
sane. People will begin to demand clean water, wholesome uncontaminated food,
clean air and scholarly education instead of the destructive propaganda they
now call education. The deceptive and murderous concoctions called medicines
put out by the pharmacological empires will be called to court. Corporations
will no longer be allowed to modify, genetically patent and charge for Mother
Nature. Corporations will be compelled to clean up the lethal environments they
have created. The big energy companies will be ordered to release the energy
reducing patents they have bought and hidden. Monopolies will be broken by the
voice and will of the people. People will have hope restored to them and to
their children. We might get through our first crossroad if we will begin to
think and act logically and honestly as a “species” and not just think and make
decisions as a nation, as a religion or as a corporation. We must make decisions
as a species!
As
individuals we, and our children, have no future if it is disconnected from the
future of our species. Corporate and political powers must see the virtue of
orienting their business to aid mankind rather than bleed them of their sustenance.
Now, more than ever, we must become rational thinking and caring human beings.
We must begin to investigate the inside of ourselves. We must learn how to
learn. We must share life and its bounty with all.
We are all
traveling through space on our mother ship, our beautiful and bountiful Mother
Earth. We have a destiny, which only we can carve out – and we can only do that
as a species. We must protect one another and in so doing we protect ourselves.
We must let the light of reason guide us through all our decisions. We must
shun all those who would make slaves of us. We must force greed to take a
backseat. We must learn to think!
We
must give a little in order to get a lot for our species. We must include ALL
MANKIND in our “We” and in our “Us.” Eventually, we must return the axis of our
planet to its original vertical position. Can we do it? Yes, we must do it. We
must elect those who have good “insides” to lead us. We must support those who
are peaceful and honest. We must support those who are caring and those who are
far seeing. We must support those who can stand up and say, “I am what I am.”

friends, there is hope!
