THE FORCE OF TRUTH

THE TEACHER IN THE BASEMENT

There resides a spark of love for the truths of life in everyone, even in the corners of the mind of the most vile and debased human. That spark is the Force within us that is longing to release the truth and reveal it to us. That is the spark of truth that pushes us in our hunt for the solutions to the injustices, the mysteries, the evils and the quandaries of life. We long and hunt for the truths of the world, the truths of the future and the truths about ourselves. There is a longing for peace and tranquility in all of our lives. We long for this peace for ourselves, for our children and for their children.

Deep inside everyone is the desire (or Force) to be at peace with himself or herself and in harmony with the universe. That drive for truth prods our scientific interests, our religious quests, and our own personal drive for the right way to live in harmony with ourselves, with our society and with the environment of our world. It causes us to be co9ncerned with both the seen and the unseen. That Force drives the mind to be uneasy and to be suspicious at the lack of success brought upon us by the platitudes, pleadings and promises of all our governments, of our religions and of our culture. We are forced to question our authorities and all their claims because the results of following their ways produces the chaos we see today.

Some call this desire and drive for truth and harmony within us, “The Holy Spirit.” Some call it “Spiritualism.” Some call this drive “The Mind of Creation” and some call it “The Kingdom.” Some call it “The Restless Spirit” and some even call it “God.” Some call it “The Inner Self” and some call it “The Divine In Us.” Some call it “Humanity” and some call it “The Conscience.” Some call it “The Good,” and some call it “The Superego.” Some call it “The Soul,” and some call this Force ”The Truth.”

The Goal of this drive for truth has been called “The Light,” “Love” and “Wisdom.” This love and drive for truth has also been seen as the hunt for “Infinity,” the “Heaven Within Us” and “Eternal Life.” Some call this goal of our drive and hunt for truth  “The Peace That Passes Understanding.” Some call it the “Knowledge of Good and Evil.”

Choose any name by which you wish to call this love and drive for truth, or make up your own name for it. I will call it the “Force of Nature” or just plain “Natural Force.” The fact is, this divine Force and attitude of the love for truth is in you and it exists in all of us and it exists outside of us. It exists and it is one of the most important driving aspects of our evolution and the hunt for a peaceful life in all of us. It generates a love for knowledge. It leads the way to understanding life and to our place in it. Some call it “Life Everlasting.” Some call it “Creation.”

From this love for truth in us (this Natural Force) comes our appreciation and desire for honesty. From honesty comes our process of logical clear thinking. From honest logical clear thinking comes the love and development of true knowledge. From knowledge comes wisdom. From wisdom comes our love and responsibility for our fellowman. From this love for truth comes our discoveries, our inventions, our innovations, our humanity, our compassion and our desire for justice and a better life for everyone.

From this love of truth comes our desire for justice. From this Natural Force come our heartache and our horror at the mistreatment, evils and injustices forced upon us and our fellowman by government, business and religion. From this love of truth come our humanitarian acts of help and relief. From this Natural Force springs our noblest of deeds and our love and concern for others. From this spark of love for truth comes our revulsion at those institutions, ideas and claims that seek to stifle our search for truth and our hunt for a better way to live in harmony with the truths of the universe. This Force in us causes us to desire and to seek “Peace.” I repeat, this Natural Force is in all of us.

As we weigh this drive for truth in us against our present day deplorable conditions in the world, we are forced to ask the question; “So what the hell happened?”

Well, there is also another force that operates within us. That force is the animal nature, which came to us through our conception and birth. That force has been called “Original Sin.” It has also been called “Greed” and it has been called “Looking Out For Number One.” It has been called “Evil.” It has even been called “The Devil.” It has been called “Inhumane” and it has been called “Sin.” It has been called “Cruelty” and it has been called “Tyranny.” It has been called “Egocentricity” and it has been called “Bigotry.” This animal nature has been called “Selfishness” and it has been called “Superiority.” It has been called “Deceiver of Mankind” and it has been called “Survival.” It has been called “The Predatory Instinct.”

This animal nature has also been called “Materialism.” It has been called “The Flesh.” It has been called “Living Death.”

Now, in ever one of us there is a clash and war between our love for truth “This Natural Force” and our animal nature “The Flesh” and it goes on in our lives - daily. There are many attempts to sugar coat the animal nature within us and to hide, refute and confound our love for truth. These “sugar coaters” have rationalized selfishness. They have glorified tyranny, torture, war, conquest and arrogance. They have given many acceptable and awe-inspiring names with which they wish to sugar coat our animal nature. Some of this sugar coating is called “Religion.” Some of it is called “Patriotism.” Some of this thin veneer coating is called “Business” and some of it is called “Law.” Some of it is called “Justice” and some of it is called “Righteousness.” Some of it is even called “Salvation.” Some of it is called “Education.” Some of this sugar coating of our animal nature is called “Human Nature.” Some of it is called “Pleasure.” Often it is called “Wealth.”

There are thousands of ways to sugar coat our animal nature and to dress the animal nature up in respectable clothes and put lipstick on it. All these facades are mere deceptions used to hide, belittle and condemn that spark of the Natural Force (the love for truth) within us. This Natural Force propels us to excel and overcome and dominate our animal nature. Our Natural Force is manifested in our “Longing for a Happy, Productive and Peaceful Life.” These artificial facades are created by the animal nature in us to hide the true Natural Force in all human beings.

The animal nature hates and fears the love for truth and especially does it hate and censor the truth itself. It also hates the truth teller and gets laws passed to outlaw truth telling and to criminalize the tellers of it. One can go to jail for hunting for the truth and for engaging others in the honest clear thinking conclusions of his search.

Our animal nature gives us false goals and false hopes. It seeks to convert us by promising us the very happiness for which we seek. It is the truth of our Natural Force that confronts and confounds these errors and deceptions of the animal nature. It is truth that puts the animal nature in proper perspective. It is truth that scrubs away the sugar coating and false promises of our animal nature and exposes it for what it is. And what do we find when it is exposed? We see that the animal nature actually deprives us of contentment. It hides and censors the happiness and well being which should be ours. It even places a monetary and utilitarian concept on our personal relationships.

If a person is of no immediate monetary or utilitarian value to you, you often abandon him or her and seek others who can benefit you more. These facades hide the truth that you have a Natural Force desire to be useful and that you should also strive to benefit others though they cannot benefit you.

This animal nature makes a virtue out of war, injustice, wealth, murder, torture, racism and death. It creates ceremonies and strikes medals to commemorate the dirty deeds of the animal nature and calls the recipients “Heroes” “Saints” and “Patriots.” It condones and encourages dishonesty and thievery as means to achieve the goals for which we hope. It appoints the best thieves and makes them CEOs, presidents and priests. It magnifies the material world and its science as means to find the happiness and peace we desire. It sanctifies greed, vileness and unbridled lust. This animal nature seeks to deify itself and offers us an alternate path to find the happiness and the truths of life, which we seek.

This animal force in us claims that if you cannot see your love for truth, hear it, taste it, feel it, weight it, or smell it, it is not real. It claims that such an invisible love for truth and our Natural Force does not exist. The animal nature claims the love for truth in you is really the deception of a twisted mind used to keep you from enjoying all the good things the animal nature and materialism can give you.

This sugar coating and deception makes you drunk on its “Things” on the pleasures and materials of life. It distorts and condemns the reality of the love for truth within you. It causes you to believe you can accomplish good things by following the interests and instincts of the flesh and by accumulating the produce and products of selfishness. It makes you drunk on its promises. It is so ingrained within you that you must sober up from its effects from time to time.

You must take a vacation away from this animal nature. You must declare a fast from the world and from this animal nature, which seeks to control your life. You must declare a Sabbath, a special holiday or holy week in your life. You must find a quite place to meditate and let your love for truth discover and recover itself. You must realize that man does not live by bread and money alone. You must learn to chain and tame your animal nature. You must learn to utilize for good the power, force and advantages of your animal nature. You must use your animal nature for the advancement and development of your own private life, and for your love and thirst for service, truth and wisdom.

The greatest tool of the animal nature is TV and all the other mediums of propaganda. The total education programs of this country are oriented to glorify the agendas of the animal nature.

Of what benefit to your welfare and happiness are a hundred pair of shoes? Will they all be buried with you? How may you know just who are your friends if you amasses great wealth? Do enemies and thieves not multiply in direct proportion to your wealth and position? Does your wealth not impoverish those from whom your wealth came? Does your wealth guarantee your health? Does wealth guarantee your happiness? Can the mind of the wealth accumulator understand that he has the responsibility, spurred by his Natural Force, to benefit his fellowman? I don’t think so.

If you ignore that spark of your love for truth,

you have locked your teacher of truth up in the basement!

To know and love the truth is not enough. Understanding the truth is more important. To know is called knowledge. To understand is called wisdom. To understand a little is better than knowing a lot. To know is not enough. Even to understand is not enough. To put that knowledge and understanding into practice is just barely enough to start the process of releasing your teacher in the basement. Understanding (wisdom) will become one with your true Nature, your Natural Force. Your Creative Sprit of the love for truth is within you. Wisdom will show that it is also outside of you. Your Creative Spirit is the Spirit of Knowing and of Understanding. It is the Spirit of Wisdom. It is the Spirit of Service to your fellowman.

How can you hate the un-suckered tomato vine because it crawls all over the garden and yet love the tomatoes that grow on the vines? No understanding (no wisdom) can come without sacrificing something from your human nature. You must occupy your mind with the delight of the tomatoes. You must learn to sucker and control the vines of your animal nature. You must accept the vines as producers of the tomatoes. You must accept the fact of your animal nature, but do not dwell upon it. Dwell upon your love for truth and well being and the tamed vines of your animal nature will become helpers and benefactors in your search for truth, wisdom and service.

Why are people fat? They have locked their teacher of wisdom up in the basement. Why are people unhappy even though all the material things for which they wish surround them? The teacher is still in the basement. Why do people seek to find health in a doctor’s office or in a drugstore? The teacher is in the basement.

What is stress? Stress is the conflict between your animal nature and the guilt you have for locking your teacher in the basement. It is the war between the forces of your animal nature and the Natural Force (your spark of love for truth.) Stress is the conflict of priorities between the natural Force on one hand and the animal nature on the other. Actually, we all know what we really should do as opposed to what we pragmatically (materially) believe we must do.

Do not blaspheme against the teacher of truth that you have locked up in the basement of your mind and personality. This spirit of truth in you is truly sacred. It is the "Holy Spirit of Truth" in you. It is the closest you can come at this time to the Divine or the Spiritual. The spirit of truth in you is not religious. It is not even something that belongs only to those who follow its guidance. This love of truth is in everybody.

When you do not listen to it, when you keep it locked up in the basement of your life, you are denying yourself your right to become sacred, holy and happy. You are denying yourself the wonderful experience of becoming one with the universe. You are denying yourself the power and purpose that is within you. You are denying yourself “Life.” You are closing yourself off from the wisdom, justice and love that wish to free you from the animal nature. To dwell in and work only within your animal nature is “Death.” The animal nature is death to all the good for which you wish and hope, personally and socially.

The Bible is wrong when it says that the root of all evil is the love of money. The main root of evil is not the love of it. Rather it is the control of money that is the root of all social evil. Nothing is more destructive of both the society and the individual than the control of money by the commercial bandits. Interest on money is simply the ownership and control of money by the banking industry, which says you do not own a single dollar. It is only on loan to you. The animal natures of the bankers have stolen your life, your institutions and your future from you. Interest on the money is the whip they use to make you a servant to the agenda of their animal nature. They cultivate your animal nature to make you believe the accumulation of wealth at the expense of others is a good practical idea and therefore, moral. This control produces fear and uncertainty in your life and steals your compassion, love and judgment.

Fear is a product of the animal nature within you as are hostility, cruelty, hatred, racism, power mongering, war, wealth mongering, conceit, and divisiveness of all types. Human nature craves immediate satisfaction at the expense of your love for truth, your “Life.” There is truth in everything even in your animal nature. But it takes your Natural Force, the teacher in the basement, to open your eyes to the truths found in your animal nature and how to utilize it for good, how to sucker and train the vines.

“Nature” is a word we use to describe the attributes of things. We use the term “human nature” or “animal nature” to separate it from the term “Nature.” Thus, we see human nature as only an inferior and sub part of the term Nature. It is the reality and communion with all of Nature that leads us to the Natural Force, the teacher in the basement. The animal nature leads us away from our true teacher and seeks to substitute an inferior false teacher that we will call “Confusion or Self-Deception.” Self-Deception says you can only find happiness and well being in the product and produce of human nature. Deception says wealth will buy happiness. The true teacher in the basement says the concentration upon wealth produces poverty of the mind, civil strife and turmoil of the emotions. Confusion says you must look out for number one and let everyone else look out for himself or herself.

The animal nature produces destructive emotions. Even the animal nature emotion that we call "love" is simply possessiveness and greed when it is foisted and cultivated by our animal nature.

There is good to be found in every thing and in every one.

Nature is a universal force that manifests itself in the animate and the inanimate of the whole universe. Our true Natural Force is manifested (revealed) in and through the cause and effect of all our actions and in all our thoughts. Selfish thoughts produce selfish actions, which in turn produce the bad results of unhappiness, turmoil, fear, hostility, cruelty, hatred, conceit, divisiveness, war and other such atrocities. Our human nature is the wedge seeking to split us off from our teacher in the basement, our True Nature.

Human animal nature produces poverty of mind, poverty of emotions, poverty of consciousness and poverty of well being. Poverty is not the lack of material things. It is not just a state of physical being. Poverty is rather a condition of the mind. Poverty is basically a lack of true knowledge and wisdom. Poverty is blindness to the sustenance and guidance available to all of us, which is to be found in all of Nature. The wisdom of birds know food is available everywhere and thus, they sing their beautiful songs. True knowledge is wealth. To know yourself is knowledge and this knowledge will inform you that true wisdom (understanding) does indeed reside within you. Your Natural Force knows good and bad, right and wrong, honorable and dishonorable. To understand yourself is Wisdom. It is to understand yourself and to understand the teachings of the teacher in the basement.

Wisdom helps you to become your own judge, jury and executioner. When you get the courage to judge yourself, you will be lenient and give yourself every opportunity to make restitution and to right your wrongs. Will wisdom not instruct you to learn from your mistakes and wrongdoings? Will you not be happier for your own personal judgment and for your execution of reform and restitution? Yes indeed!

To know and to understand yourself is to fellowship with and to utilize the natural powers of the universe. The ones who find the true natural powers and forces within themselves are the new born, the ones who are willing to restart at the beginning of the learning process. You must “be born again.” You must become as little children. You must listen and discover your teacher in the basement. You must learn the truths, wisdoms and powers of your own life.

The animal nature causes people to wish for a truth that is malleable, changeable and biodegradable. The animal nature often teaches that the truths of the Natural Force are often “old fashioned” and “not applicable” to you. That is, you wish for a truth that can be modified to suit your own personal immediate needs and desires. Thus, our animal nature gives us governments, religions and salvations. What the animal nature hides from you is that the truths of Nature are eternal and unchangeable. Inside of your mind, that spark of love for truth, keeps telling you what is true and what is not true, what is good and what is bad. The Natural Force within you will condemn any religion or salvation that is based on the animal nature of getting something for nothing.

People get angry when they are told that their philosophy or their religion does not stem from truth, but rather stems from deception and delusion fostered by the animal nature. Yet, inside they know that their attitude is not one of peace, truth and harmony with nature and humankind, or even harmony within themselves. They know that the very anger and fear they feel and display toward those who point out their false beliefs does not stem from the love for truth and wisdom. Rather, it stems from a selfish and stubborn adherence to their own false beliefs foisted by their animal nature. They know they do not possess within themselves the peace that passes understanding. They defend their delusions and deceptions by claiming they are true, yet, the teacher in the basement lets them know “something is wrong here.”

False beliefs of the animal nature teach that truth, wisdom, peace and harmony with nature and mankind is something for which you should strive and prepare to experience - in the future. You must sacrifice some of your “here and now” for something great in the future, like retirement and such. Some religions even teach that this condition of paradise is only to come after death. They do not realize or admit that such a wonderful condition is a here and now condition. If one listens and follows the spirit of love for truth within them, they will lose their necessity for their material accumulations and lose their love for their present power and position in life. Those directed by their animal nature, not wanting to lose their grip on the things of their material life, they make great effort to lockup the teacher in the basement (their Natural Force) so they may not be confronted with that spark of the love for truth and wisdom within themselves.

The teacher in the basement does not condemn wealth, power or position. What the teacher is trying to explain is that these material things are the vines upon which the productive fruit can grow. Those vines should be used to free yourself and others from the strangle hold these religions, beliefs and material things of the animal nature have on your life and activities. These things of the animal nature should be used to bring hope, nurture and well being to you and to others. These material things should never be accumulated at the expense or well being of others. They should never be gathered by devious means or by theft and lies.

The greatest and most destructive weapon possessed by the animal nature is the lie, the telling of a falsehood. Always, the lie hurts someone especially the teller of the lie. Your animal nature will tell you that the lie can protect you. It will tell you that the lie will produce friends, wealth and even happiness. It will tell you that the lie will solve your problems.

The teacher in the basement says the lie stems from and/or produces an inferior complex in the liar. The liar knows he is not wise enough and prudent enough to live and maintain his wealth and his position in life without the lie. That feeling of inferiority will drive the liar into many more evil actions and attitudes thus requiring more lies and more harm to others. Those deceived by the animal nature will seek to display their prosperity, their power and their piety. They hope thereby to validate the usefulness, morality and correctness of their lies. The lie is always hurtful and destructive to others. It is much more destructive to the teller of the lie. Truth is not always the opposite of the lie, but the lie is always the opposite of the truth. Truth is big and encompasses everything while the lie is little and is only barking and ankle biting at the truth.

Our True Nature in the basement tells us the lie only compounds our problems and difficulties. The laws of the True Natural Force within us are not some kind of divine pronouncement. These truths are simply the natural Force laws of cause and effect. Those laws are eternal and true and can never be broken without their evil effects following. There is no physical or divine way to separate the cause from the effect. There is no forgiveness for breaking these natural Force laws of cause and effect. The laws of cause and effect are heartless - and just. You will reap what you sow. Now try to sugar coat that with what some have dreamed up and called “religion” or “salvation.”

Human nature has rubbed some sugar coating on these animal natural laws that it calls religion. It promises forgiveness (salvation) from the cause, and therefore, protection from the natural effects and consequences that are certain to follow. That is just another lie given to us by our human nature. The laws of True Nature cannot be broken or forgiven. What you sow, you will reap. Human nature is deceptive in the extreme. The results of this deception is that our Natural Force is isolated more deeply into the basement, and thus, one is farther removed from the very happiness and well being for which he hopes the lie will produce. Religion is just more sugar coating by our animal nature foisted upon us to cover and hide the truth.

This animal nature will cause men and women to fight and die for this sugar coated deception and lie of religion. It will cause wars to be fought. It will cause thefts, hostilities and all sorts of crime and divisiveness. Now if such lies by human nature were true, would there not be a better outcome and effect from accepting this lie of religion, which the animal nature calls true? Where can more evils and more horrors be found than in the past and present aggression and defense of the delusions of these religions? What has separated men, societies and nations more than has religion? Where has more lies been told, more lives lost and more history corrupted than is found today in all religions?

WHERE CAN WE FIND THESE

TRUE NATURAL LAWS TRANSCRIBED?

You will not find these laws written out in some book by the Natural Force. The Natural Force does not write books. Rather, the Natural Force has given us the ability to develop knowledge. From knowledge comes logical thought, which develops into wisdom. From wisdom comes the concept of honesty and justice. Through the use of our logical thought (our wisdom) and our honesty, we write these laws ourselves in our own minds and in our own books. They become the basis and growth of our search and love for the truth within us.

Look at these two examples of true laws. “You shall not steal.” “You shall not give false witness.” Using our honest logical thought, it becomes evident if people thought, acted and spoke only what they knew to be the truth there would be few to no lawsuits, few to no wars, no poverty, few to no ecological problems, no undernourished or starving people, no religions, no Israel, no thefts, no under paid workers, no fabulous wealth accumulation, no harmful and deadly chemicals in our food and water, no health destroying drugs and medicines, no polluted seas or fresh waters, no pork barrel politics, no drug wars, no war on terrorisms, no homelessness, no unemployed, no shoddy automobiles or merchandise, no fear and uncertainty and above all, no ignorance and no deceptive education used to enslave us.

The animal nature will say, “Hey! We know all that! It may all be true but what can you do when everybody else lies, cheats and steals. You have to protect yourself, your family, your religion and your country don’t you?”

You have to realize that those who follow the True Natural Force, by their very nature and philosophy, they must consider themselves to be “not of this type of world.” This world is ruled by the animal nature. You have the personal choice of being ruled by the animal nature, which brings unhappiness, lack of justice and death to all the good that should be yours, or you can be guided by the Natural Force teacher in the basement (your own Natural Force).

That rule of honesty, clear thinking and justice can bring to you all the good for which you personally hope and pray. Yes, even in the midst of a world of lies and false witnesses, you can live a rich life of truth. You can gain the knowledge, the wisdom and the peace that passes understanding from your teacher in the basement. You can be personally free from the fear of injustice, of poverty, of sickness and above all, free from the fear of death. This Natural Force is so powerful it will make you fearless in the face of all troubles. It will help you understand who you are and what you are. Your Natural Force will help you overcome the animal nature and free you from it. All of our ancient wise men have explained this to us.

The teacher in the basement must be set free so that all mankind can be set free from the injustice, lies and death of the animal nature. The man who knows about fire and understands how to make it and use it is a fool if he freezes to death with fuel all around him.

Now consider that at some high level of being, your spark of the love for truth is also connected to my spark of the love for truth. What affects you also affects me. Such is called empathy and makes us brothers and sisters. Our love for truth is also connected to all humanity and humanity is connected to the powers of the universe. Indeed, that fact maybe the true definition of humanity. We are in this together, thus we should love and sustain each other.

Opposed to this is the fact that our animal nature is also connected to each other. This accounts for how easily man can be whipped into war, mob violence, murder, hatred, bigotry, evils and crimes of all types. It is called mob psychology. As a species, we will either overcome our animal nature or we will fail to continue our evolution.

My hope is that there will come a time in the future when mankind will wise up and rebuke their animal nature that brings utter destruction, death, injustice and humiliation upon him. Children are being born today that have a close relationship with the True Natural Force within them. They are our leaders of tomorrow. What does the animal nature do? We are advised by the animal nature to Drug these children, to warp this instincts for harmony with the Natural Force in their lives. We are advised to dumb them down with useless information and falsehoods, which we call education. The animal nature advises us to restrict these new wise children and to classify them as troublemakers. You can bet that they are troublemakers to those who wish to follow their animal nature. The animal nature very much fears these new children.

There have been and will be leaders who tempt you to follow their plans of war and destruction that stem from the animal nature. They will promise security and great personal and social rewards if you will engage in their evil plans of war and such. Maybe that time is now. These leaders of the animal nature must be rebuked. We must refuse to be led by such leaders who offer war, personal accumulation of wealth, selfish power and position and such things as solutions to the problems of the world. You must refuse to be led by those lying wealth builders and power mongers who would build their “wonderful new world” upon the necks of the ignorant and the backs of the poor.

Happiness and peace of mind is not something that can be gained by following the animal nature in you. Only the love for truth, the Natural Force (the teacher in the basement) can bring you to the state of mind that is fearless, happy and produces peace within yourself, within the world and the universe. So say the laws of cause and effect! So say the ancient wise men. So says the teacher in the basement! So say I!

That is the way I see it!
